People in Need is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that focuses on values such as dignity, freedom, equality and solidarity.
Their commitment to supporting the rights of individuals to make decisions about their own lives is admirable.
As part of civil society, they rely on the personal initiative and efforts of many staff and volunteers who work not only in the Czech Republic but also in many other countries.
They fight poverty among people where it has been caused by lack of education, unequal treatment, discrimination or poor governance.
They help people to overcome these obstacles and at the same time they try to find the causes of these problems and help to eliminate them.
A better school for all
Better School for All is a campaign that takes place every three weeks during the autumn months.
Each donation is included in the matching campaign during this period and is doubled thanks to several partners.
How do they help in the Czech Republic?
They help children from poor families and pupils from nearly 5,000 schools to succeed in their educational careers, while bringing methodological support to teachers and teaching assistants and advocating for inclusion in schools.
They promote students' interest in the contemporary world and lead them to active citizenship.
